OUR APPROACH
As responsible service provider, We ServeSoul Limited understand that the needs of the travelling SEN students are special and each & every one of the students’ needs are different hence individual continually assessments are required.
For each school/ destination to which we transport, we appoint a dedicated service manager who will be in charge of and ensure any needs with the respective party whenever necessary.
Drivers and escorts are allocated in a way that they can get to know parents/ carers and work out how the best way to proceed & resolve any potential issues. For this purpose, a route on a permanent basis will be shared with parents/ carers which is comfortable with the time schedules, finally that it helps a smooth transition.
Service Manager contact every parent/ carer as a follow up to the driver and escorts meeting.
We ensure that all of our staff are aware of the need for first class customer service for SEN children. We are very aware of the safeguarding issues of young children and take our responsibilities there very seriously.
For unavoidable operational cases, relief drivers and escorts will be necessary and they will be introduced to the students via their regular escort. Parents/ carers are informed prior to any change in staff whether permanent or temporary allowing them time to prepare the student for the change.
Day to day communication between drivers & parents/ carers will be done through mobile network and parents/ carers have access to contact service manager as well as having the ability to contact the Company’s office.
A code of conduct is practiced while travelling. In case of emergency, parents will be informed. In case the routes are rescheduled, we ensure the on-vehicle time is kept to a minimum.
Our drivers receive continuous training including a training in defensive driving techniques, special trainings ex. sign language courses for all staff involved with students who have speech difficulties etc.
